About The Studio

The Pilates MVMT is a boutique Pilates studio in Singapore, hidden in the quiet estates of Kovan. The studio can accommodate a maximum of 8 people for Group Mat Pilates classes, and also has a Pilates Reformer machine for 1-to-1 Private Pilates classes.


Other than Pilates, The Pilates MVMT also offers a high-intensity but low-impact cardio workout called Rebounding. With a calming view of the trees outside and natural sunlight in the day, The Pilates MVMT creates a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for anyone who steps into the studio.


Our Mission

In a society where fitness is largely commercialised, The Pilates MVMT aims to maintain the essence of Pilates through personalised attention in small group classes, and at reasonable prices. All classes are multi-level (suitable for beginners to intermediate unless stated otherwise), and our experienced instructor will provide modifications to increase or decrease the difficulty of each exercise.


The Pilates MVMT is a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental space for everyone to work out in. If you are intimidated by loud surroundings and large groups of people, you would enjoy getting your Pilates fix here!

About Our Instructor

All Pilates & Rebound classes are taught by Joey – a full-time Pilates instructor, and Founder of The Pilates MVMT. Joey has been teaching Pilates for 5 years in group, private, and corporate Pilates class settings. She believes in spreading her love for Pilates & Rebounding and its wonderful benefits in an accessible and fun way, for beginners and intermediate Pilates practitioners alike.


While Joey understands the safety & importance of teaching technicality, she also firmly believes that human connection is just as important when teaching a class. With this belief, The Pilates MVMT was born.

Late Cancellation Policy

If I need to cancel my class slot, how long before must I let you know?
We do not impose a minimum time period for class cancellations, so you can let us know at any time.

Will I be charged (a class credit deducted from my package) for my missed class?
Regardless of your reason for cancelling, you will only be charged in the event that the class was full and there were others on the wait list.
If we are able to find someone to replace your slot from the time you have informed us to the start time of the class, you will not be charged.

A 60-minute class on our Reformer-Cadillac Pilates machine. Suitable for people with injuries (e.g. slipped disc, knee/back injuries), postural imbalances (e.g. scoliosis, kypho-lordo), or anyone new to Pilates and wants to start off with a strong foundation.

A 50-minute high-intensity cardio workout, which involves jumping on a rebounder along to the beat of the music. Rebounding is low-impact on the joints, boosts lymphatic drainage and immune function, and burns more calories than running!
